GSYAA was organized and operates to provide youth sports programs for participants residing within the service boundaries of Fairfax County with its primary focus on the Route One Corridor.

GSYAA programs provide an opportunity to participate in competitive and recreational sports.  Its sports programs help develop skills while building teamwork and encouraging health, fitness, learning, enjoyment, cultural enrichment and provides opportunities for community involvement.

GSYAA is a member club of Fairfax County Youth Football League and Fairfax County Youth Basketball League.

Week 2- The Train Has Started

Happy Friday,

     We had some great football being displayed in week 1. All 5 of our teams played and 4 teams brought home a win and 1 team came close. As a program, we are currently 4-1 with a winning percentage of 80%. Our goal each year is to try and win 70% of our games as a program. Also, thank you to all of the fan support. The cheering was awesome so keep it going!!! This week, we have 2 teams at home and 3 teams away. Keep on bringing that positive attitude. As a friendly reminder, we want all of our fans to be passionate and excited about our kids, however we need to make sure that we are positive all the way. Fans can cause a team to get a penalty so your actions can hurt the team. However, what's more important is that our kids are looking to us on how we act and handle situations!!!! With that being said, wear your blue and white, bring a loud voice, and let's win some football games this weekend. Here is the schedule for the weekend:

80 National- M. Williams vs. Reston @ Gum Springs, 10:30 am

100 Central- M.Jones vs. Alexandria @ Gum Springs, 9:00 am

130 American- M. Ferguson vs. Dulles South @ John Champ HS, Aldie VA 4:30 pm
